Sesame Braided Bread
Introduction: This is a wonderful bread, so good, fluffy and soft it will disappear instantly.

  • 1¼ cup water
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • ½ tbsp of sugar
  • 2½ tsp bread machine yeast
  • 4 cups bread flour
  • 2 tbsp gluten
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  1. Place de water, oil, sugar, yeast, flour, gluten, salt into the bread machine pan, in the indicated order
  2. Start the bread machine on dough cycle
  3. When finished, remove the dough from the pan
  4. Place the dough onto an oiled working surface and separate it in four equal balls
  5. Flatten each ball with a roller pin, roll the flattened dough into a strand
  6. Repeat the process for the remaining dough balls

  8. After the bread has been braided, brush it with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds
  9. Cover with a clean towel and let it rise at the room temperature for an hour or until doubled in volume
  10. Bake into the preheated oven at 400 F for 30-40 minutes
