Fruit Punch (Kompot)
Introduction: Kompot is a beverage dessert made of fruit boiled in water, sweetened with sugar and flavored with vanilla and cinnamon. It is specific to Eastern European countries and can be served cold as a refreshing beverage during the summer or warm as a warming dessert during the winter. In my childhood, my mother used to make it in the fall when the fruit were in season and preserve it for the winter. It can be made of any fruit or combinations of fruit.
